Your tour begins with a 45-minute hike through the colorful jungle. There’s an incredible tumble of a cascade that plummets 80 feet (24 m) into the plunge pool. Follow your guide to make a splash from ledges that are 7 feet (2 m), 25 feet (7 m), and 33 feet (10 m) above the water.

The tour spends about 90 minutes at the base of the waterfall. Afterward, you’ll ascend to the upper level of the Nauyaca Waterfall, which is an even more staggering sight — at 190 feet (58 m), its plunge into into the water is truly breathtaking. You’ll admire the falls for about 45 minutes and then begin the hike back down to the trailhead. At the conclusion of the tour, you’ll stop at a rustic restaurant called Sancho’s for lunch.

Traveler Comments

Great group and tour!

- JACKIE L, MAY 2019

Although it is a hot and humid hike, it's worth it because the falls are beautiful and you can swim around in the area and it's quite refreshing.
